- A minimum of a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Systems Biology/Pharmacology, Mathematics, Engineering, or other disciplines related to Quantitative Pharmacology is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modeling and simulation is required.
- A track record of successfully leading modeling efforts that inform drug development strategies is required.
- Proven ability to develop and apply QSP models to solve complex biological and therapeutic challenges is required.
- Strong experience in advanced mathematical modeling techniques, with practical experience in building complex biological pathway models is required.
- People management experience is preferred.
- Experience mentoring Ph.D.-level scientists is required.
- Strong record of publications is highly preferred.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a collaborative leader who can inspire and guide multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to engage with both scientific and non-scientific stakeholders.
- The ability to present complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences, including regulatory agencies and senior management is required.
- The ability to collaborate with all levels across a matrixed organization is required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position in all other U.S. locations is $160,000 to $276,000.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
